What we built together
The demolition component of the works involved completely stripping back the existing classrooms by removing all ceiling and wall finishes. This allowed the refurbishment of the spaces into 6 new classrooms, 2 new break out areas, a new toilet block and the conversion of the covered outdoor space into a contemporary learning zone.
Challenges
- Delivery of the works within a tight three-month programme which included Ensuring consultants provided responses to construction queries within a 2-day timeframe
- Working within a live school environment
Outcome
Project was delivered largely over the Christmas holiday period allowing the school to assume occupation of the spaces in time for Term 1.
